Fiestas De Las Américas

ABOUT

Join the vibrant Fiestas de las Américas, Historic Capitol Hill’s signature celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month in Oklahoma City. Each September, SW 25th Street transforms into a lively cultural corridor beginning with the grand Parade of the Americas—featuring nearly 100 entries from schools, community groups, and local leaders—followed by a day full of food vendors, artisan markets, a children’s zone, live music, folkloric dance, and our “Travel the Americas” cultural showcase. Since its inception in 2006, this family‑friendly festival has grown into the metro’s largest Latino celebration, drawing over 18,000 attendees in 2021, providing scholarship opportunities, and supporting the nonprofit mission of empowering economic, educational, and cultural development in the Historic Capitol Hill district

OUR MISSION

To preserve, support, and promote Capitol Hill as a place where Oklahoma history and Latino culture create a vibrant, multicultural neighborhood business district.

OUR VISION

Calle Dos Cinco in Historic Capitol Hill will be known as the community development facilitator for the Historic Capitol Hill Business District.
